About Monique

Our founder, Monique, is many things, a mum, a friend, a traveller, a professional. 

Monique founded Cardi Co. after a light-bulb moment while sitting in her office.

It was summer in Melbourne and 35 degrees outside and yet, sitting there in her sleeveless summer tank top - she felt cold. The air-conditioning was turned up high, and the vent above her was blowing cool air all over her and she just wished she had a little packable cardigan in her handbag to throw over her shoulders so she could concentrate on her work but of course, she hadn't brought one because the weather was so hot. Plus no one likes the look of a sloppy, untidy cardigan tangled in the straps of their bag. 

She called her sister and asked if she would buy a thin, micro cardi in a little case in her handbag for emergencies and she confirmed that the market for this product was at least two people, so off Monique went to create a solution. Cardi Co was born.
